# Plans and limits

> Credits, project plans, workspace tiers and rate limits.

## Credits

* Each event that hooksnode receives uses **one credit**. This includes buffered events.
* Each retry or replay uses one credit for each event.
* A workspace has one credit balance for all its projects.
* When credits run out, new events get `402`. Buy a credit pack or turn on auto top-up to avoid this.

## Project plans

Each project is **Free** or **Pro**.

## Workspace tiers

The monthly bill is the workspace tier price plus the price of each Pro project.

* An upgrade is pro-rated to the end of the current period.
* A downgrade takes effect at the next renewal.
* If a renewal charge fails, Pro projects move to Free. Nothing is deleted.

You can pay by card with Paystack or Flutterwave.

## Other limits
